Cascading Style Sheets (CCS) were developed as a means for creating a consistent
approach to providing style information to websites. These Style Sheets provide
commonality to your entire website. Style sheets include many features such as:
- Font properties such as typeface and emphasis
- Color of text, backgrounds, and other elements
- Text attributes such as spacing between words, letters, and lines of text
- Alignment of text, images, tables and other elements
- Margin, border, padding, and positioning for most elements
- Unique identification and generic classification of groups of attributes
Style sheets can improve a websites loading time by using site-wide consistency
in limiting the need for redundant styles normally used throughout a website. Because
style sheets are stored in cache in a browser they are not reload for multiple pages
greatly improving bandwidth. They also provide a great way to make a change to multiple
pages that require the same style in one line of code reducing maintenance time
and costs.
US Logics can greatly improve your websites speed, bandwidth usage, maintenance
and look and feel with Cascading Style Sheets.
